“My mother, Sara Miriam, was born in Den Haag, the Netherlands. At three and a half years old, her parents gave her a suitcase and told her she would stay with the Renzenbrick family for two weeks. She passed from hand to hand. After three and a half years, Jan Renzenbrick came to take her [along] with another woman. [This is] the story of my mother, who wrote years later in a book called A Passing Package. My name is Ranny Rader, and I will tell her story.”

Join Ranny on Yom-HaShoa – Holocaust day, who will share his mother’s compelling story. His mother, her three siblings and their parents survived the war, and decided to adopt Jewish children who lost their parents before they made Aliya to Israel. Together, they adopted 12 children and brought them all to Israel. RSVP to hear their story.
