Makom’s Shabbat Mosaic is a wonderful tradition that celebrates our diverse and beautiful community. It is a great way to come together as one family and celebrate our differences. Since we are fortunate enough to have people from around the globe in our community, why not celebrate it? What could be more wonderful than celebrating it on Shabbat, a day that God created for us to be together, prepare a nice meal, and share it? Every month, we will celebrate Shabbat with a different cuisine, and this Shabbat is Zimbabwean. Taphy Bindu will share with us the beauty and history of her homeland and has created a delicious menu for us to eat from. Anyone who wishes to come will choose a dish from the menu to make for us and bring it so that it serves 10-15 people.
